I am probably being a bit stupid here but I have never bought a new pc without the windows disc in the box. Is win xp on the recovery disc?

so so SO Cheesy are these computer companies cowtowing (?) to Mr. bill and company.  I found a shrinkwrapped empty CD envelope labeled MS XP home in my kit, with a sticker saying the reg number had been removed!!! what a joke. and some programs like BackupMyPC require the CD to be inserted to do things like creating a Disaster Recovery Set. This is of course no big deal to most of us who live in Asia and who can purchase a bootleg CD of anything MS makes for just a buck. Of course i would never do this unless forced to, like now!
