I sometimes use the notebook cooler without the USB cable plugged in, as the aluminum top does a good job of heat dissipation. The TR’s fan doesn’t come on much, if at all, because the temperature of the machine stays low. You don’t need to really tweak anything.

This seems like an easy question to answer…unless more stuff on your desk matches the darker colored one.

I think it’s probably safe to say that most people here prefer lighter colored peripherals that match the TR. So, it may be clear, white, silver, and brighter pearlescent colors.

That pearl one looks sharp, though I ended up going with the black one to match the finish on my T616, though mostly it was because I was lazy and didn’t want to wait for the pearl one to ship. I did get a chance to see it in person recently though, and it matches the TR nicely.

heyyy , I got my Pearl Antec Cooler yesterday. The color is pretty cool, and i liked it. (Cool Cooler) Here are how it looks.

I kinda liked it. and i think i’m going to get one of those AC to USB convertor or adaptor to use with this cooler. The usb port that came with Cooler is a little bigger than usual. Well it’s not that bigger ,but i can feel it when i plugged it in. I need to push more and use more effort in order to do so. I’m afraid of wear and tear on my TR’s usb port that’s all.

Also i’m thinking about get that Dome(lapvantage) and place this on top of that. has anyone tried that yet? not sure if it’s going to fit tho

thanks for the great review of this antec fan.  for someone who is looking for something a little bit different, i was wondering if anyone had any good recommendations.  personally i’m looking for something a little thinner and maybe a standard rectangle design, although the antec does look pretty cool.  if anyone can point me towards something they’ve used before or have heard of before, that would be great.  i’ve looked at a couple on ebay, but most look very generic. thanks

seriously, i just don’t see why the TR would need it. i use a griffen icurve stand when in the SOHO and gotta have the adaptec xhub with GF’s pic for all the usb cables.  on the road, the LAST thing i would ever consider lugging around is a set of cooling fans.  but maybe i am missing something…like EXTRA expendable income for one…
