i have two computer. i want both to have same data content for most of the time. i tried windows’ briefcase. i works well until i found out that it can’t be a My Documents target.

i just want an idea from other people on how do i make this possible.

also i tried offline files. doesn’t work very well.

interesting, i use offline files quite successfully.  i have my server at work with all the data.  a copy remains on my tr in offline files.  when i’m off the network it’s as if i’m still connected to the server.  even have a mapped drive to the network share.  it’s pretty good at synchronizing the files too, asking about conflicts: keep local version, keep network version, keep both versions and rename.
