Sorry to nitpick here but what you’re asking here isn’t technically “legal”. If you do find someone to help you out then please conduct that offline and not on this board. I don’t want Sony to force me to shut down this site because people are sharing software. Drivers is one thing but software is another.
You may also want to actually consider purchasing the upgrade if you really want to have it. It’s around $40-50 (depending on the version that you want). I do have WinDVD 5 Platinum (which i bought) and I can honestly tell you that it really doesn’t give you much more over 5 unless you need DVD-Audio support, more audio support (i.e. Dolby II, DTS, SRS, etc.), some other not necessarily useful features, and supposed better support for Centrino notebooks.
As far as I can tell, the only interesting thing is the last new feature. As far as I can tell, it adds some new power profiles to your system which can take over for Power Panel when a DVD is running. Also, it supposedly caches the DVD content for less DVD access theoretically saving battery life.
