anyone have drivers for x505 vista?

i had so much trouble getting window xp to instal since my i link doesnt work and for sume reason i can instal vista


so does anyone have drivers for this computer?

I would not want to run Vista on X505, especially with only 512MB of RAM. Check out the posts in X505 section, I believe Erik did an upgrade to Vista, it ran OK. Most XP drivers should work just fine.

my i link dvd drive doesnt work and i cant seem to get the xp to install off the network. i could however instal windows vista.

i tried installing te xp drivers.

but the one i most need is a network driver for wifi

which card did your X505 come with? PCWA-C300S(EU version) or C800S (US, JP)? You can check out the Sony support site for drivers. If you cant find it, let me know and I will get one from my install CD.

the model number is
ak8pcwac800s

im pretty shure it was the unit was made in japan but on the unit it says it complies with canadian code so i guess the asessories are us?
