My baby (Tr2A) is up and running again thanks to BladeRunner and his fantastic service!  I can’t say enough how pleased I am to have found this site and then to find BladeRunner.  Fry’s had quoted me a total of around $900 total to fix my laptop to which I huffed and puffed and walked away sensing that I was being ‘worked’.

BladeRunner sold me a new mainboard, but he did so much more.  His posts on this forum supplied clear installation instructions for replacing the board, he included restore disks, a memory card, and a bluetooth hookup.  He even shipped a set of magnetized screwdrivers as well!

Thanks for the praise, but I think you are giving me too much praise here after all I just showed you how to open the TR up, you worked out the swap yourself….. doesn’t it feel good to fix something yourself though, not only the money saved but the satifaction gained…

Bladerunner is someone who frequents this site, and who through my finding him on this site was able to walk me through the repair of most blessed laptop .  I’ve since done a couple other small transactions with Bladerunner and he was most helpful, reasonable, and someone I would do business with again in a heartbeat.
