Personally, I don’t think the Samsung 32GB SSD will be lower in price anytime soon. They have become extremely difficult to obtain and used ones are being sold for more than brand new because of this.
BUT, on this forum is a tutorial on a physical conversion to use a zif connector for a hard drive. Although no one has performed a zif conversion and then purchased a 64GB zif SSD, it could be possible. The 64GB SSD with zif connectors seem to be plentiful in availability. But like everything else on this forum, you have to find a person who is willing to explore unknown areas.
Lastly, if you haven’t seen my other thread about trying to find other ways around this issue, check it out - http://www.siliconpopculture.com/forum/viewthread/7484/. I will be trying to go the bootable USB route and if it works, I won’t even consider SSD anymore unless I discover something about booting off USB that I just can’t stand.
