so if I replace my dead camera with PCGA-UVC11A, do I need PCGA-UVC11A drivers or the drivers for the original TR camera works?

The reason I ask is because I am going to replace my camera with PCGA-UVC11A after XP SP3 is out along with SSD HD.

I’ve put 3 UVC11a in UK spec TR’s and it’s a direct replacement working fine with existing driver on existing install and when restored..

The only difficulty is finding them working at a reasonable price and routing the different shaped membrane cable is “uncomfortable”

Many thanks for Bushman for those images.  My camera had been dead for a long while but I finally found an affordable PCGA-UVC11A (ebay, $50) to use for the fix.

Like what Globalagogo said, it was also easier for me to put the cable in before screwing down the censor into the casing.

So now my camera is functional again!  Mark this day, if/when (i hope now) this new censor fails, I’ll post it’s life span.  My first one must have survived a year before going completely white.

Like you cheerioboy, I also found a fair priced camera on Ebay for $50. I just did the replacement yesterday as the instructions showed (also put the ribbon in first before I screwed it down) and works perfectly. Nice to have it working, even if I will barely use it.

The install took me about 5 minutes and there was nothing that needed to be installed. Thanks!

Many thanks to the original poster for the walkthrough, I now have my camera working again with a replacement from Ebay.

Only thing left is to replace my dying Hitachi drive with a Toshiba (those damn Samsung SSD’s are impossible to find).

I did this replacement, but now the camera swivels the wrong way!

It’s supposed to swivel underneath about 180 degrees
Instead, it swivels over instead of under

why is this????????
