well after waiting ages for my u101 to get through customs from the us i got it, with ddrw2 and extended battery! i now have it up and running with WINDOWS VISTA ULTIMATE!! and i am pleased to say it seems to deal with it quite well (except for aero). i can open ie, windows media player, and watch a movie easily with barely a frame skipped. but then again this u101 was upgraded to 40gb and ram to 512mb! and amazingly i only paid $550 for the whole package! will post some pics soon

Congrats man. that probably the only ultraportable from sony that i havent bought. I saw one on ebay for 1100 ans was considering it,but after readinng about the awesome deal you got i think ill hold off. Sooner or later im gonna go into a ‘vaio withdrawl” as my wife calls it and will succumb to its lure..yea! i need help. Post the pics asap. congrats again.
