I have been debating whether or not I wanted to entertain the idea of creating a website for the TR laptop only. I just can’t get enough of this laptop and it is as if I am addicted to it lol.

Anyway, gr00vy0ne what do you think? I know I could never design as good as you and don’t want to take away from this forum (not the intention, but rather add to it) or your site. I also don’t want to build it and then no one really use it.

A site for the TR is an excellent idea .. We could post on it all the possible upgrades for the TR explaining how to do them using the tutorials that guys in the forum wrote ..
We could make it like an encyclopedia for vaio TR laptops ! 

Yea I agree. The idea was to streamline more of the facts of the laptops with a link to the forums of course. You can’t have the site without the forums link!

Anyway, I would be happy to do it if everyone thinks it is a good idea

Well I’m on the case of making a better heatsink, another thing I want to do is complete screw mapping with pictures. would be useful for reference for those that are a bit scared of taking them apart, or those who’s enthusiasm has taken over and they have a pile of parts & screws. 

just put together a TR from parts with a second-hand TR2 mobo and it’s bios password protected… will leave the bios battery out all night but a quick unplug didn’t clear it is there a trick? (assuming it don’t clear over night) 

You’re certainly welcome to do such a thing. I would suggest a “wiki” style format if you’re looking to consolidate information.

If you want, I could set one up here and you could all post your content as you please but it’s up to all of you.

I had to sell my TR so i’m extremely jealous of all your folks who still have that beauty.

I saw somebody use it at the airport recently and it still looked stunning. So different, catches all the eyes. Nothing on the market really looks like the TR, the little white frame, the design was so ahead of its time.

Congratulations, gr00vy0ne. The new look is nice and stylish. Also, a wiki for the TR is a great idea.
