oh yea, you have to “complete” the puzzle first in the tour, just drag the pieces to the incomplete T type in the middle and select the option to the right to see the comparison

It doesn’t seem by pictures that the optical drive is plug-able !
I think they’ll release TZ with 6 models that every model must have ( 1.8” HDD/SSD + optical drive ) Or ( 1.8” HDD / SSD +2.5” HDD ) ..

TZ model looks very enticing indeed, especially with 32 GB of SSD glory plus there is an option to have 160GB added as well! How cool is that!

I have a question for you guys.

From what I can see, the main hard drive is an 1.8” drive but you can also replace the optical drive with a 2.5” hard drive. What I want to know is is it hot swappable, where I can take out the optical drive and put in the 2.5” hard drive when I want or is it fixed?

I really hope its the former but I highly doubt that will be the case, I had assumed you could do that and that was a reason I was so excited about this laptop.  :cry:  :cry:  :cry:

Its strange that they’d sell some configs with an optical drive and some with no optical drive but two hard drives.

Its true that the G series can be ordered with or without a built in drive right?

I also found it strange that on the Japanese website, it says that with the 2.5” hard drive installed in place of the optical drive, the AV mode cannot be used, isn’t that strange?

Yeah like yourself Rahul i am also looking for sites where you can import it. I know dynamism.com have it up already at a high price which was expected. I am hoping that someone will have it up on ebay once it is released in Japan.
I bought the C1MSX when it first came out in Japan and got if it off ebay for a decent price with an English OS.
