I am considering selling my TR and trying out a UX.
It is in good condition. I’ve had it for 1 1/2 years but the outside really looks good.
The only blemish is where I used the wrong length screw during reassembly after doing the bluetooth upgrade.
It pushed up the plastic a little above the F4 key.
The RAM was upgraded with an additional 512mb Kingston module. (Now 1gb)
As I stated above bluetooth was added and works great.
I have the high capacity battery (Sony brand) I really didn’t use it as much as I thought I would, so it has very low charging cycles.
I also, have the Sony zippered case.
The webcam was intermittently working before I loaded Vista on it.
I purchased the recovery disks from Sony.
I just ordered a brand new UJ-835 DVD burner for it, but it hasn’t arrived yet. I may just list the burner on eBay. I doubt installing it would get as much back in return.

Anyone have a realistic idea of what I could get for it?

I think I would say “very good” condition. I would hate to say “excellent” and have someone be disappointed after a transaction is complete. I just looked it over, and there is a small scratch on the battery. And the lid has a couple of that you can’t see looking straight on, you have to tip it kinda sideways and reflect light off of it.
I did mention the dimple above the F4 key.

Sorry didn’t make myself clear, was talking about the case or cover / clam shell. When you said “I also, have the Sony zippered case” I was asking is it this one?

and if yes what’s condition, assuming you decide split the extras from the main notebook… the pcga-ck5t seems impossible to find new anywhere now :cry:
