Hi guys, if you’re one of the unfortunate people who had their Motion Eye go dark on them, I have a replacement unit for sale. It’s the Sony PCG-UVC11A, and you can use it to replace your broken Motion Eye using Bushman’s awesome tutorial (http://sonytr.siliconpopculture.com/viewtopic.php?t=5905).
Why give Nextronics $150 for the part when you can do it yourself? Since I’m not sure what to ask for I’ll take the first reasonable bid via PM. Please PM me or email .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address), since I don’t check this board often.
Also keep in mind that this unit is very rare as Sony has discontinued it, and its replacement, the VGP-UVC100, won’t work for replacement (http://sonytr.siliconpopculture.com/viewtopic.php?t=5905&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=30). The PCG-UVC11A is also very hard to find on Ebay.
I also have a broken TR3-AP for sale. The motherboard is fried (and can’t be repaired.. a professional shop worked for a week on it and couldn’t do it). I’ll take any reasonable offers for the parts.
