Sony Japan announces a new G model with a 32 flash based HD. In Q2 there will probably be 64 flashbased HD available. What are the chances for the next TX (or a new T-version?) will have this technological solution? And when can we expect the next version after the TX5?

At first I thought it would be this summer but it doesn’t seem Sony is releasing any groundbreaking products this summer. I guess that means we’ll have to wait until August/September for possible new models and configurations.

Of course, you never know with them.

Most likely Sony will do away with T series all in all and introduce a new line in the fall. T series has gone through its life stages: T - TX - TXN series. We’ll see more and more notebooks adopting SSD technology.
