I will definitely keep my x505 as a collectable, I just love the form factor, I think it is the perfect design in terms of elegance and sleek style.

I am wondering how long should I expect the hardware to last?  What are the options once the processor quits? (Well, actually do they rerally “quit” practically?)
It would be cool if one could upgrade the hardware and keep the case as technology advances this laptop is just too damn amazing!

So, in short, any thoughts will be appreciated if you guys have any further ideas on how to keep the x505 “ever lasting”
