Hello,

I need to send my TR1MP in for repair, Ive found a repair center online from the sony website, but im just wondering will they touch it as I have replaced the HDD/RAM/WIFI myself over the last 12 months? I understand its out of warranty, Do sony have any sort of limit to what they can charge for repairs?

It keeps freezing after about 10/15 min’s of use? I have to pull out the battery, Im thinking its either a short circuit or a heat problem?

Im gonna bring it to the sony repair center here in melbourne, see what they say?

Well, I got my quote today….. au$1720, Nasty.

The Mobo was dead.

Im just gonna strip it and sell everything off to try and fund my new Vaio.
