What is the difference between the PCG-TR2AP and PCG-TR3AP? Some times I see another number after the model number, like PCG-TR2AP3. What is that?
thanx

Having briefly owned both, I can say the tr2a is a lot louder than the tr3a. There are also obvious small spec jumps between the two.
Sony PCG-TR3AP, PCG-C1MVP, PCGA-CRWD2, AC16V10, DSC-T9, D-EJ01, MDR-E828V, TFM-C444W [ Mr. B’s Domain | Vaio Wallpapers ]
cool…well I am finding them on ebay and I am not sure which one is better or what the difference is. So far I can see that they are the same. If they are the same, then why two different model numbers. hmmm… maybe it is just a marketing thing.
thanx for the info
I don’t remember the differences, but the TR3AP is certainly better.
This is what I was able to find. I only did a small search so I am not sure about any other stats.
TR2A: Windows XP Home, 512MB TR2AP1: Windows XP Pro, 512MB TR2AP3 Windows XP Pro, 1GB, 802.11g instead of 802.11b
TR3AP1: 512MB CD-RW / DVD TR3AP2: 1GB CD-RW/DVD TR3AP3: 1GB DVD
Here’s a chart that will help with the older ones:

Even nicer than what I found! Your chart is very helpful to me as well. Thanks!
It’s actually from the FAQ on the site…Groovy put it together.
