I have a TR3AP and i want to finally upgrade my cdr/dvdrom drive to a cd/dvd burner.  i’ve looked around the net and i found some sites that sell the new drive i want/need.  or so i think..
Sony DVD+-R/ +-RW/ RAM Drive - 1-796-892-13
i found this on a site impactcomputers.com as well as another site sparepartswharehouse.com. 
My only prob is that, i am by no means skilled in any way of replacing this myself.  is there a place i can go to get this done?  are the ppl at geeksquad capable of this? or is there a step by step explanation on this forum as to how to doit my self?  any help would be great….thanks

Do a search on this site as I remember someone posting a step-by-step DVD-RW upgrade with pictures.  :wink:

The problem is search does not let us go beyond 2007.

I’ve just received my drive today so looking for information before I go around disassembling the TR.

Edit: Anyway successfully took apart my TR and replaced the drive in less than 45 minutes.
