Thanks, I downloaded the files. installed them and now have some very limited sound.  Still not much more.  Unless I can find someone that can walk me through the change to vista I think I’m on my way back to XP.

I had pretty good success. Install all the Sony drivers as XP compatible. Right click on the .exe file and select properties and then click the second tab and check the Run as: Win XP. Then then click OK, then right click the file again and run as Administrator.
Also, install the Sony shared library first. I couldn’t get the power panel to work.
I used the sound driver from here:

Also, even with the hotkeys installed, the TR volume keys don’t work. (the adjustments on the right side of the screen and the function f5) The only way rto adjust the volume is the speaker adjustment in the task bar.
