I have a X505ZP and am missing the VGA/LAN dongle. Anyone know where I can purchase one? Thanks.

Try eBay (I’ve seen them listed).

If you’re desperate, you can pick one up at Sony’s Direct Accessories and Parts Center or Nextronics .. but it’s pricey.. US$76.15.

The part number is A-8119-547-A.

Thanks Jef. That is a card that would not fit in thin and full X505ZP laptop. The part I need is PCGA-DLA1 and it is hard to find. It is a dongle that plugs in right next to the power cord. Hala

Just checked again .. the part I list is the VGA/LAN Adapter (dongle) for the X505ZP/X505VP.

I picked up the part number from the Service Manual from Sony.  It’s listed as component 802 on the breakout, with a picture of the dongle shown.

Sony is notorious for their confusing part descriptions.  The breakout in the Service Manual lists the same description as the DAPC website: A-8119-547-A COMPLETE PWB FPC-VGA ADP (S).

Have a look at the breakout at Nexttronics (which is basically the same as the Service Manual):
