Anyone using T370P/L?
I need a review about performance, Battery and easy to carry

Well, you would be better off searching on the internet for a review of the T350P/L model. The 370P/L model is the exact same as the T350 except it has 1 gig of ram instead of 512 megs in the 350P.

It will definitately get better battery life than the TR, as for one, it has a higher capacity battery as its standard battery, even higher than the TR’s high capacity battery. As you may know, the TR has a standard and high capacity battery but the T only has a standard battery and the TX has a standard and high capacity battery.

It should have roughly the same performance as the TR, as it uses many of the same basic components but having a slightly faster processor.

I still like it more than the current TX and I would say it is better than the TR in every way except it lacks a webcamera and microphone.

am also getting a good Deal for TX27GP so I am confused between TX27GP and T370P/L.

I am fond of 10.6” Screen but not sure how much dfference the 915GMS v/s 855 GME would make… any remarkable difference?

I know that the TX27GP is a European model, whereas the T370P is an American model. The former is a TX series notebook and the latter is a T series notebook.

Both the integrated graphics should be fine. What are the prices for both laptops and what will you be doing with yours?

The TX27GP will be slightly lighter, have a slightly wider screen, instant on function (which lets you play DVD movies, music CDs and photos from a memory stick/SD card without booting to Windows).

Deals I am getting is about 2000 US$ for T370 including all tax and shipping while TX27 @ US$ 2115 US$ incl. Tax and shipping.

So finally do you suggest TX or T?

Any known issues with either of them?

I want to say that $2000 for a T370P is FAR too much. You would be paying several hundred dollars more than it is really worth. For that price, you would be much better off getting a newer model. Which place is selling it for that price?

On Ebay, search for item number 140069824197 and you will see a current auction running for a T350P for $1125, much cheaper than the $2000 for the T370P you say and the only difference is this has half the memory but it can be bought for relatively cheap.

I have an older model TX790P and an issue I have with it is that no matter what I do, the fan turns on a few minutes after the laptop is powered on and keeps running constantly and never ever turns off. Otherwise, no complaints really.

The TX790P is essentially the North American model of the TX27GP you are looking at.

May I ask why you are looking at a North American T model and a European TX model? I assume you live in India perhaps?

Yes I am based in India and have to consider hefty 35% import duty, unless I get a friend or someone comng to India from US.

I havent really give much consideration to merica v/s Europe Models, I am only inclined to have Vaio ULV as I lost my loving TR3A recently and I can live without it.

I got another deal (but have to get somebody to bring it from U.S.), TX 850P/B

Its got 1.2 Ghz Core Solo U1400 and available @ US$ 1600

Would you recommend it over TX27G/P which is Centrino 1.2 Ghz ?

I do not know about that retailer, but yes, the TX850P will be superior to the TX27G/P, having a fingerprint scanner, GMA 950 graphics instead of GMA 900 in the TX27G/P, 533 front side bus versus 400 in the older TX, the Core Solo is a better processor, it will certainly give you more battery life at least.

is the Price 1600US$ realistic for TX850?
