I’m looking to sell my TX3 Limited edition (TX3 XP/L) , and I’m including the official grey semi-hard case.

As with all my sales, the unit is in pristine condition, fully boxed and still under warranty. 

The limited edition refers to the slate grey/sparkly blue/different colours depending on how you look at it!!/ carbon fiber weave lid, which is a really amazing thing to look at. Apart from that , the spec is exactly the same as the normal edition. It is the latest edition (I think its the TX 850 equivalent for non UK peeps)

The entire unit casing is made from carbon fibre, and is extremely light - I have been using it for web development and graphics, and it’s a lovely machine, from the way it looks to the way it performs.

The screen is immaculate, no dead pixels, and a marvel of modern technology. This unit has a particularly bright, white screen, not the yellowish tint that some users have been experiencing with older models.

I’d recommend you check out the reviews, not just on this forum, but around the web, though I’m sure most of you are familiar with this unit - I particularly like the way you can use the biometric scanner to assign programs to you fingertips, and when logging in to various websites it saves you from having to type in your details each time!

I’ll post some pictures up shortly - as for price, I’m looking for £1200, which is £500 off the rrp (not including the £45 the case is worth too!)

Hey Rahul - well considering I’ve just lost 520GBP on an ebay auction I’m tempted to say NOT Paypal, but I will accept PP if the transaction is covered under their seller protection policy.

However, I notice you are in the States, where prices are much less expensive anyway, so I doubt you’d be interested in my unit as I may be asking too much for you perhaps.

I’m happy to discuss payment methods with any who are interested however - the best thing is for folks to come and view the unit, but that may mean a trek for some more than others!

Nah, I’m not interested in buying right now, I just wanted to tell you you didn’t list any payment methods so other buyers wouldn’t all have to ask you.

Actually - scratch this - I’ve decided to hang on to the TX after all, having taken a look at the SZ3 series (which I was going to replace the TX with) , it looks a bit too bland and corporate for me!

I spent a long time in my local Sony centre today, and took into count the size, battery life and performance, and for what I do, I think I will be sticking with the TX - I spent half the afternoon working in Starbucks yesterday, about 3-4 hours, and my battery still says 50% charge! Admittedly I was only surfing and working on some web stuff, but I think I’d feel restrained by having to cart the SZ PSU around with me, which is much larger than the TX one!

So the benefit for me would have been a faster processor speed, but I only needed that as I try to run too many programs at once sometimes!

So all in all, I’ve stuck with my TX, and realised by looking at other systems out there that, for my requirements, it can’t be beat.
