Has the same screen resolution, Core Solo, GMA950, etc.

I know that Averatec’s 1000 series in the U.S for example is a rebranded Twinhead Stylebook F10D. I wonder if Averatec will bring this over to the U.S to compete with the Vaio TX and Lifebook P7120?

only with a bigger, faster hard drive and a core duo processor. Ouch!!

Averatec 1500 is currently the smallest dual core laptop in the market AFAIK.

That means a 2GB RAM is worth upgrading to get the best performance, taking advantage of the faster hard drive. Sony better cowboy up and put a core duo in their Vaio TX, because Averatec is sprinting fast.

Oh one other thing…if Averatec uses carbon fiber for the LCD screen, the thickness may have been comparable to the Vaio TX.

The Averatec 1500 and Twinhead Stylebook F11Y are the exact same thing, just different branding.  :?

All except F11Y doesn’t have dual core.

I recalculate the dimensions again, but this time from your pdf link. It looks like HP Compaq nc2400 will still be the smallest dual core laptop with optical disk drive (Dell Latitude D420 doesn’t count) in the market in terms of volume.

Sorry for the crack on your Vaio TX screen. I am currently seeking a dual core Vaio TX (if that’s possible). Pretty much seeking the smallest with an optical drive even. If you’re tight on the budget, the HP Compaq nc2400 may be the right ultraportable.
