I just bought the Kensington Universal AC/Car/ Air Adapter for use with my TR2, it comes with a 16V tip #11. I can also use it with my R505 19V tip #12. If you wanted to buy an extra Power Adapter for your TR or whatever this one gives you the added options of DC and Airline compatability. Actually the juice is the new version of the black Kensington one I bought! The unit is the same accept for the color.

I also bought the iGo Juice for use with a TR1, and with tip #11 it works fine.  I’ve been using it every day for the past 4 months (I left the Sony charger at home) and have no problems. Batteries charge normally etc.

(I’m just waiting for iGo to make adaptor tips (Or PPS) for digital cameras… if they ever will??).

I’ve been using the #11 tip since I got my TR2 last November.  No problems so far.

I also use the #11 tip with my TR3.  It has been working fine. I use the same tip with my Z1.  I am glad to see that Sony is starting to have a LITTLE standardization in their systems.  It is nice to only cary one power cord and swap notebooks easily.
