Why would you want to recover at all and why did you spend
money on that recovery disc?
Just go get an image of the preinstalled version of
Windows XP (HOME or PROF - from a friend or from the web). Install
it using the CODE on the bottom of your TR
and call Microsoft hotline for activation. Theres nothing illegal
about that…
Once youre done you can use GHOST to make
your own recovery disc!
NOTICE: When calling Microsoft for activation, their answering machine might tell you that it cannot be activated (thats because Microsoft stopped activation support for some OEM CODE BLABLA - long story). It will then connect you to some real person. That person will give you the activation code!
