Basically, I did a clean install of Windows XP SP1 (I don’t like SP2, for my own reasons) on my Vaio VGN-T250P. I installed each driver in order listed by the Sony Support website:

Now, I downloaded (or supposedly thought) the Bluetooth drivers from here:

What I don’t get is that this is a “registry patch”?! I already tried installing it, but it didn’t work (unless there are other steps I don’t know about). What I want a driver that I can install. I don’t really care if Microsoft controls the BT device.
I still have UGX listed in my device driver with an exclaimation point next to it (which I know is the BT device). Anyone know or have drivers, not “patches” that would help me install the BT? :evil:
