For those of you who use Bluetooth headsets regularly, what headset are you using? If you reply, share with us which headset and which phone you’re using it with.

I’m actually looking to replace my old Jabra BT200. I hate how so many of these Bluetooth headsets can be bulky, awkward and uncomfortable for extended periods of use so I’ve been looking for lighter, less cumbersome models. Right now I’m leaning towards the Plantronics Discovery 640E/645/655 models because they’re crazy small and light. I’m currently testing out a Plantronics Discovery 640E paired with my Sony-Ericsson Z600 mobile phone and my VAIO S (for Skype). It works great with both so far but I’ll need to do the driving test to see how well it fairs. I also have a Plantronics Discovery 655 on the way to see how much better the DSP enabled model is. More on that later…

Using Jabra 250v with success. But built-in mic or external wired microphone is much clearer than headset… conversational partner are saying.
@Groovy: The newest Jabra is much more lighter and thinner. Already tried it?

Are you referring to the JX10? If so, that’s also on my list of models to try out. Of course, if I end up liking the plantronics then i may never try it. At any rate, my trial with the 640E today has been pretty positive. No complaints on the other end and I purposely wore it as much as I could today and my ear doesn’t feel fatigued at all.

I am currently using Sony Ericsson’s HBH-IV835 with the W810i. The headset is very convenient - being a canal type as opposed to an ear-loop headset, one can easily put on and remove the headset with a breeze; perfect for those that wear glasses.

I got the Plantronics Discovery 655. As Groovy indicated it is crazy small and light. The best thing about it is that you can either charge it via the mini USB or a AAA battery. The DSP processor is great. People can hear me great in a noisy environment. I also play music from my Pocket PC,

For what it’s worth, Newegg is selling the Plantronics 655 for $74.99 which is well off the MSRP of $149.99. I’m not sure how long that price will be in effect but it’s pretty good.

In my 2 days of testing, I’ve been extremely happy with it. It passed the driving down the freeway at 80mph with the windows down, the music blasting, and the earpiece by the window test. My friends could hear me quite clearly (could hear the music in the bg faintly but not the wind) and I could hear them clearly.

I’m using Moto HT820 stereo headphone/headset.  They work very well with my T-Mo MDA for stereo music, Skype and to take calls.  Also using the same headset with my VAIO.

I’m not a big fan of Moto’s line of phones but I really dig their bluetooth headsets, be it stereo or not.
