Well I just got a TX770 and it seems that the LEFT side of the keyboard, especially under the S/D Keys, bubble up to the point where you can see the gap between those keyus as wider then the rest.  Its like the keyboard on that side is being pushed up. 

I even held the computer up so I could see the computer head on from the front and it is noticeably curved upwards as on the right side the keys are nearly flush with the system while on the let they pop up. 

Is this normal?  or did the engineer that built this not install it correctly?

Funny you mention that - I have a new UK TX3XP , and noticed the same thing. There is a slight ‘bubble’ under the x, d, s and w keys, that alhtough fairly insignificant, is one of those annoying little things that can grow into something bigger, cos then you start looking for other issues -see my next thread…

That seems defective, that’s why when I got mine I opened the box and inspect it ( :( sad white spots seemed passed my inspection, hehe) before I left the SonyStyle building.

Now your issue on your keyboard, I don’t have that, though I noticed from left to center and right to center mine is a bit curvyer on the center.  Maybe it’s design that way, I checked the displays on CompUSA & Bestbuy and it’s the same thing as mine.  My keys on my keyboard doesn’t bubble up or any odd spaces in between them.  IF it annoys you just get a keyboard from Sony it’s around 70 bucks I think (plus shipping and tax).  In my opnion that’s cheaper than getting a new Xbrite screen :idea:
