I bought the Sony TR3A at Circuit City two years ago, and after I got home with it I wanted to see if there was a forum dedicated to these unique laptops. Well, sure enough, there is one… THIS one! I haven’t posted an awful lot, but I still visit the site several times a week. Yeah, things have been slowing down a bit in here, but there’s nothing wrong with that.

On my part I was searching something for my S360 laptop, a tweak if I must say, I think it was Omegadriver.. Thru series of reading forums online
I stumble upon this website..  TO cut the long story short, I became a part of this monstrousity, obsession, for the VAIO logo (not much anymore though).. Thus I became a constant replier/poster here in gr00vy’s crib, and also he lives near where I am at right now - work.. 

Funny that this thread should reappear.

I’ve been away for a while so I’ll take this opportunity to say hello to the old regs who are still around.

I actually found TRWORLD when I was considering buying a TR3. Google found siliconpopculture. I found unbeleivable support for the TR.

I really liked the TR but lack of internal bluetooth slowed me down. I don’t like dongles and have a tendancy to lose things. Within a week of joining I ordered a TR3. Shortly, thanks to TRWorld, a real deal on a 512M memory upgrade and the bluetooth module were on their way.

Personal and health concerns have pretty much kept me away except for an occasional quck look. It’s nice to be back. I’m looking forward to braveing the upgrade to a decent bluetooth stack.
