i sent in the unit and Sony put in a new shiny HD!  But i think i want to finally let go of my tr2ap3.  not sure what to get in its place?  Any suggestions would be GREAT.  I looked at the xps 1210 but its to thick imo.

anyone interested in a mint tr2 with brand new hard drive, extra capacity battery,case,1 gig of ram, Recovery DVDs, 3 months of warranty left etc etc let me know.

In the mean time what should I get in its place?

how did u get a warranty this long? and did they upgrade the capacity? or was it a straight up swap?

my ext. warranty is from compusa and my HDD also died. i wonder if CompUSA will upgrade the drive while they’re at in…

Actually Sony has kept sending me letters of renewing my warranty.  Even though it expired for my S360, T250P early this year..  LOL

I’d rather fix it myself..  Thanks to Service Manuals..  :idea:

sent mine off thru compusa’s extended warranty program. should get it back by Friday. w00t. man i hope they give me a bigger drive…
