im going to load the ultimate article in the next few days, i opened up my TR to inspect everything, basic clean of dust etc, and i realised i had a box of ice blue LED’s, i managed to fit them under the keyboard and in the cpu heatsink area, i made a little rig in a parallel electronic circuit with a low yield resistor, i then fixed the 2 power leads into the cpu fan socket, which to my surprise, my TR1MP now looks like something from need for speed underground! gimme a few days and i’ll give everyone the tips and tools on how to do it, with pics! I also made another discovery that the chipset (northbridge chip) was exposed with no source of a heatsink, so i looked in my tool kit, and i have a few Zalman ram heatsinks, i stuck one of these down onto the chipset and my system now seems quite stable, i use NHC to keep my system intact, cpu usually runs at 50 celsius which isnt bad considering the lack of space inside, also another mod, seeing as the ram becomes quite hot, creating convection which makes heat rise through the laptop, i created an ultra thin heatsink out of a sheet of aluminium which i crafted to hold mini ‘‘vanes’’ she runs smoooooooth!
