Please do not allow this forum to degenerate to a marketplace. Post about things for sale or questions about the flat renting possibilities should be banned.

if you have a look towards the end of the list of topics in which you may post on, there is a general, anything goes….

This forum has been around for a very long time, much longer than when i joined and Sony topics have not been the sole contributor to its survival. Most people on this forum have created a community and if you observe the posts and contributions there is much a friendly as technical environment about it.

From what i gathered this forum is here to help people, whether about technical issues or otherewise.

...and if you feel so strongly about your stance, i would like to hear your reasons about why non-sony topics be banned? Why would it degenerate?

The “General Topics” is subsumed under “Sony TR World Forum Index”, so I think clearly that this narrows the intended content of the posts.

But, of course, exceptions can be both tolerated and be a good thing.

My concern was both that some new posts didn’t belong here according to the intention as an “online community dedicated to the ultraportable Sony TR notebook” and that there have been, I would say, rather few post about the real subject matters in the lasts months. Hope that this is not a symptom that people have lost interest in sharing news and discussing relevant matters.
