It seems pretty straight forward. Isn’t there a recovery disk set available to make re-installing the OS any easier?

Thank for the info. This is very tempting. For the US Version UX180 can the Cingular be unlocked to use the T-Mobile SIM.

depends who you buy it off. Some of the Japanese sellers give you a custom recovery set. Don’t know about the one’s from sony US or Oz
