First of all, I would like to congratulate all of you for this forum and information that it provide me, and more precisely about the way to add BT Headset support on my T2XP/S.

On the other hand, I’m already sorry for my poor English, I’m French and hope that we won’t win this year “sucker” cup !

So, I would like to share experience that I got to integrate an SSD drive to my T2XP/S.
As you should know, T2XP/S and maybe others, comes with two different 1.8 4200 RPM HDD form factor, Hitachi’s and Toshiba’s (Connector respectively on the longest and shortest side.), mine was an Hitachi, with the famous “Clic”‘ing noise :-( !
I replaced it with a Transcend 1.8” NAND HDD (http://www.transcendusa.com/Products/ModDetail.asp?ModNo=99), no problem to install MS XP, works fine but small capacity, 8 GB !

$500 for a 8 Gig Flash Drive is very pricey for a test drive. But sounds very promising.

How is the speed? How long does it take to boot XP from power on?

yeah and how’s the battery life?

Some details, right, 500 $ it’s so much expensive ! For me first but I had to test ! Crazy about new technologies !
So, concerning the booting time, it’s not fabulous, I won about 5 seconds, tests has been done using fresh XP install and after drivers upgrade.
The best thing concern battery power saving, really crazy, won about 1H30 ! No mechanical parts !

I’m still waiting for Samsung’s 1.8” 32GB drive, should be better !

On my side, I would like to know if somebody knows what is the most important resolution available on an external display using T2XP/S ?

I don’t know if 855resoltion (http://perso.orange.fr/apoirier/) could help me to bypass SONY driver’s limitation ?
