hey everyone, i hope someone can help with my question.

i now have a hard drive, connector and the brackets for my tr1mp. i dont have the black plastic layer that goes over the hard drive. is this necessary?

not really, its basically a heat / dust shroud to keep everything ‘‘cozey’‘, try making another one from a sheet of plastic etc,
