I didn’t notice your devilish upgrade, altough i suspect something since you post pictures of cpu-z in action but thought that “banias” was the name of the U101 special intel processor (didn’t look at the cpu speed !)
Did you take some shots of your upgrade ? It would be nice to see the inner parts of a U101
The U101 keep their value over ages (hard to find a mint one below 1100€) I guess yours is now priceless !
Dude,
gimmee!
We need a tutorial! Is it easy? Do you need to solder things, is it a straight swap? If I can do this I am buying a U101 immediately and doing it. Can you sell me a chip ?
Sounds sweet for the TR, but what about the U101? I’m guessing by the guys post it’s socketed too, and $239 US is quite cool to take the 600 Banias to 1.2! Then the U101 is a pretty rocking little machine.
Hey mate, so what if were not in taiwan… i am sure more than half of the ppl on this forum are not there.. we just dream about it :D .. but you can help us all out by giving us a detailed tutotrial. Think of this this way.. youll be spreading your knowledge globally. You can be our ‘chip supplier’ . Im sure ull get heaps of orders, PPl are gonna start falling inlove with their TR’s again. Screw the TX ( no pun intended to ppl that already have one, its a nice machine  )
