Ive just installed a new driver version for my graphics card on my
TR3A to solve an issue.

Now that Ive done that the magnifier hotkey wouldnt work any longer.
Reinstalling the hotkey utilities wouldnt help.

Only rolling back the video card driver would make the magnifier hotkey
work again.

Thats actually driving me nuts. Is someone outthere who knows how to solve that problem?

If you’ve installed drivers directly from Intel that are version 14.0 or higher then you will lose the magnification abilities. There’s something in the new driver codebase that breaks the functionality.

There’s nothing you can do about that other than rolling back to your original drivers or only using the 13.x series drivers from Intel.

If you specifically need some feature/bug fix that version 14.x provides, you’ll have to take it up with Sony support. Because the TR is a discontinued model it’s unlikely that they’ll release updated drivers but perhaps they have a work around for you.

I’m using intel extreme grafics 2 for mobile (driver version 6.14.10.4497), XP Prof.
Actually it’s not a big deal not having this function. But esp. when somebody else try to figure out something at the TR it would be nicer to pump up the pixel-size.
Even there is no chance to use a resolution like 1024x… by set it up manually.
