I just saw a fellow member on notebookreview.com talk about Asus making a n 11.1” notebook like the Vaio TX but with a Core Duo processor and webcam!!! Looks very nice to me!
Wow thats really nice and definetly a win over if sony doesn’t do anything about it for people who go for performance. But then again sony is all about style and thats what we are pretty much paying for and the TX looks nicer then that but i hate the TX look to begin with lol. Yes, I have noticed you don’t like the TXs too much, but why do you like em better then this Asus S6F? This Asus looks very nice, with its Core Duo processor, though I’m worried about the heat and would have to sell a kidney to afford it anyways.
I’m guessing one reason you don’t like the S6F is because of the pics I put with the pink leather on it, it’ll come in many other colors and only a few will have the leather option anyways.
What with it coming from Asus, I’m not worried about its screen or build quality. I am concerned about its potential battery life however and price.
Still looks like a great notebook if you ask me.
Wow looks even crappier with the new pics rahul gave us lol. Ya i would go for TX way way over that piece of junk and im just like gilberto. And ASUS does like to copy other companies and make them a lower quality and similar specs for a lower price. Even though the ASUS that looks like the TR is very similar is still pretty crappy it is not as bad as that leather thing. I really hate ASUS just look at there 12.1” W5F ya its same color and they tried to mimic the TR in every “legal” way possible but look at it. They copied the capture buttons, camera touch up, wireless switch, and the power button has same interface but just in a circle. Sony should really do something about that. But anyways the product has less battery life, bigger, looks like crap and nowhere as great as a finish on the TR, Camera reminds me of a hummer, I personally dislike the right click and left click keys since there too fat and short, the screen makes my eyes bleed etc. But a only good thing for this is performance 0.8 pentium M is a huge over for a TR but then again who cares the ASUS will probualy break in a few days and also we don’t need that much power :wink: Ultraportables are meant for portability and not saying 12.1 is huge but compared to 10.6 and the fact that TR is 3 pounds compared to 4 is a big win over. I really hope ASUS dies and will be erased by every minds because they suck so bad. That is all :D But then again its really opinion but we all know sony is the way to go but we all like certian ones over others like biggest thing in debate is TR, T, and TX because thats the cool things about sony there portability. Sadly for sony performance you have to par dearly but portability is differnt so we do throw our money at that :D Now don’t go talking about which is better out of those 3 since this topic is about this copy that looks like crap and it doesn’t remind me of the TX dunno why you got that nirmal just looks like a textbook. It also has same integregated graphics card so all games TR can play against ASUS pretty much. I love sony and we all love sony because we love life and our notebooks/computers/cameras/PSP/PS2/TV/LCD monitor/Dvd player etc lol. But if im not wrong there best selling are there notebooks and TV’s i think. Style is a great thing to have since we all get the ladies haha what now ASUS and a beautiful piece of architecture to play on and get on with our life and jobs. I agree with Groovey on build quality and stuff, I’ve owned several laptops, nothing came close (except IBMs) when I started going for Sony laptops.. they are just exceptional.. and exceptionally expensive.
It boils down to how you feel when you use your laptop. Is it special or is it like nah it’s alright, I’ll get a laptop next year, that’s expensive buying laptops every year. Now if you get a Sony there’s always a smile in your face and a hole in your pocket.. Long live the working students!

I dunno, seems from you guys that Sony is a great company and Asus really isn’t and I seem to be hearing the exact opposite on some other forums. I keep hearing about Sony’s declining quality and especially product support and that their products are overpriced and proprietary as well.
I’ve seen very few dissatisfied Asus owners, most of em seem to be extremely happy.
But then again, I haven’t own either companies notebooks so my opinion doesn’t count much.
Ya i know which people your talking about. There wierd and im not joking. They keep talking about ASUS being so cool and the best. Dude just look for yourself dude look at thier products and look at other manufactors expecially sony since they are best known for best laptops. Every damn laptop ASUS makes is a piece of garbage and a not as good copy of a product. ASUS really ticks me off and should get shot. Why is ASUS still around they should be out of business by sews!!! Rahul don’t listen to them people are greeding and selfish usually and think there less expensive product is better then your sony because they have it and think its the best. Sony is more money because its good quality and thats what you pay for in your lifetime for every product. ASUS is just a cheap company that likes to rip people of selling crap to people. So dude just ignore them because even if you didn’t believe all of us go look for yourself and you will see. We all have options either to buy a low quality good or buy a high quality good. Comparing ASUS to Sony. I never saw an ASUS out in the streets and im glad because its an inferior brand and unpopular for numerous reasons. ASUS is just one of those brands who noone ever heard of except us since we are into laptops. When i see a ASUS laptop which its hard to find these days ill laugh at that person unless its a hot girl. Rahul hear me out ignore those outsiders and just stay away from ASUS or you will get cuties :wink: jk lol but still stay away. But hey if you think about it those ASUS owners love thier laptop good for them but is it all about just you in this world last time i was outside no. I’d rather be complimented on my laptop then jus be ignored such as an ASUS owner.
