Just about to try to zap my recovery partition. I’ve done a bit of a search and haven’t found it discussed recently.

What have people used for this type of job? Partition Magic, etc. I have parition Magic pro, but am also thinking of upgarding my Acronis as my Father in law bought the new one and likes it’s partitioning ability.

Try rescue CD from your father-in-laws system and see if you like the changes made to the latest version of Acronis True Image.

I’ve been using version 9 for some time and am quite happy with it.

um, yeah not after acronis stuff, just after advice on how to wipe the recovery partition off my hard drive as i don’t need it but want the space back
