I am looking to upgrade my TR1A memory from 512 MB to max capacity (2GB or 1 GB may be). I also want to replace my motion eye webcam, because it is giving black and white noise.

Could someone please show me where to buy these 2 items? and what are the parts numbers?

According to Crucial’s Memory Advisor, the TR-Series can take 2 x 512MB 172-pin Micro-Dimms.

hey. I just got my motion eye camera replaced from sony because i had extended warrnty. If it hadnt been under warrnty, it wuldve cost around 289 with labor plus tax, so the rep said. BUT thanks to this great site and the plethora of documented expertice and sugery’s done on the TR, you have a much cheaper way of replacing/ fixing your motion eye. Just buy one of sony’s peripheral USB notebook cameras, namely the UCV11, and then look for links on this site on how to swap the internal parts. hop this helps. good luck mate. may the force be with you. :wink:

hey guys, seeing as my business is on ebay, im on it 24/7, if you need the man to find you cheap ram then i am he! i know plenty of sellers who sell a genuine kingston or sony pc2700 micro dimm for under $80.00 US or £43.00GBP, also, the UVC11A currently sells at $75.00 + $8.00 p&p :D if you would like the links, ask and i will submit LOL

http://www.memoryx.net/pcgamm1024u.html get two of these babies for 2G’s of ram for your TR it works dont look at sony people done it and the motherboard supports 2G so it works out great if you have 600$  :cry: you can find the 1G ram from 282-300 ish but memoryx is great website.
