It is an OK price (especially if you compare it to the original price tag…I remember some C1 quad battery cost $499 a while ago, I cannot believe Sony charged that much). Anyways, on SonyStyle it runs for 59 and you can get free shipping on Tue-Thur.

nice tip vaiofreak. $59 shipped is still $2 < $62 shipped (ubid wants 7.** for shipping).

and arthur, i would NOT count on this as being a bp3t; ubid previously had bp3t at $100+

Actually most Ubid’s Refurb Sony products are brand new items from SOny, just repackaged. Ubid is Sony’s outlet to dump discontinued stuff. Just FYI.

Nice buy, TonyC.  Wish I could get one from UBid, but I live in Canada, so I can’t get it shipped here without paying an arm and a leg for something called Access USA (mail/package forwarding service).  I’ll just have to look elsewhere (ebay possibly .... but all I can find on ebay are the 3rd party batteries).  I still get pretty decent time out of my bp2t, but certainly not what it was originally (get max of about 3.5hrs with screen dimmed all the way and wireless/optical drive turned off).  Used to be close to 5hrs when I got the tr a few months ago.
