ok so i went to bucks and i couldnt log onto the net.  i didnt understand why so i called support.  they made me change my connection from use this ip and dns server to obtain automatically. 

my question is do i have to do that to get access?

also can i make a home connection and bucks connection the same so i dont have to flip back and forth?

because if i set it when i am home to obtain auto i CANNOT get my corporate . vpn to work it wont give me the sign on dialog box until i reconfig the wireless network setting to a specific ip and sub and gateway (which is my router).

All you need to do is set DHCP on on your wireless router at home and your computer will configure itself. I seem to remember that the problem last time was that your DHCP range was conflicting with your static workstations. Set DHCP back on and change the range so it’s away from what your existing workstations are set to. Better yet, change the existing stations to DHCP and never worry about it again…

Can you describe more detail on how your home internet current configuration?  For example:
- are you using DSL/Cable modem
- do you use one of those hub/router to share your internet or plug the hi-speed modem (DSL/cable) directly to your computer
