for you to dump your TR2-3?

i have a chance to pick one up for < $1300… and w/ the tax refund coming, i’m really REALLY tempted to upgrade; ie ditch the camera for lighter weight, bigger HDD, built in BT (which I will need soon for my sales job), etc…

1300 ....That’s a lot to pay to get a little bigger hard drive.

-You won’t notice the lighter weight…c’mon, the TR isn’t that heavy.
-You can pay less than 10/dollars for a bluetooth dongle.
-Little extra oomph in CPU isn’t going to make much of a difference.

Do what i’m doing, save up for a real upgrade.  You pay 1300 bux now, you gonna want to do it again for the TX next year.

I’m going with the SZ myself this year.  It may be a bit bigger, but the specs are amazing and is the best performance i’ve seen on something of that size.

Builtin-BT was the reason to buy exactly THIS machine!! Isn’t there a chance to change the built-in minipci by a wlan/bt-module easily?

And the HDD you can replace by a one bought by yourself (i.e. online-shop: about €160,- Toshiba 60GB (MK-6006GAH)).

n’mind. bought an Armani suit instead…

i’ve since purchased that $10 (external tho) bluetooth dongle.. and will for the next ‘big(ger) thing’...
