I want to lose the 5GB partition.  If i make the CDs, wipe the entire hard drive and format as one large partition, will the CD recoveries work and NOT create the different partitions?

Or will i just go back to where i started?

If you get your computer repaired at sonystyle i know they wipe out your drive but do they give you new partition even though its not your hard drive that was the problem?

Yes 8) but cds more annoying then just hitting recover button but 5 G is alot so go for it :wink:
