I read in a post somewhere that some of you guys have redeemed a coupon for your new notebooks.

I purchased mine on December 2003

1. am I entitled to a coupon?
2. where should I seek more info and and coupon options?

It’s supposed to be within 30 days of purchase.

The coupon was a $100 e-coupon promotion good toward another sonystyle purchase of an item over $249.  It may not have been a promotion when you purchased yours.  And definitely would not have been a promotion for you if you didn’t purchase directly from sonystyle.com.  If you were eligible, you would’ve received an email or two with the coupon code and reminding you to redeem it.

In some ways you should be glad you didn’t get the coupon.  It enticed me to drop another $800 on a digital camcorder I otherwise probably wouldn’t have purchased.

I got my TR2A from newegg.com and I got my e-coupon. I probably got it because I registered it with Sony.

i got the 100 off coupon ... and i used it towards a Home Theather System .. and I LOVEEEEEEEEEEE IT ....

i got 100 off; and i purchased an extra battery.

How long after registration did the coupon codes show up on your emails? I registered and haven’t received any codes yet.  I did buy from SonyStyle.

I was checking the price of the large capacity battery and the 80 gb giga vault at pricegrabber. The lowest price was approx. $100 less than the one at sonystyle.com. Do you really need a $100 coupon in such a case…(besides u must purchase something above 249) ??? You end up paying so much more money at sonystyle and they really do have very poor reviews. I’m sure you’d save a lot more on much expensive products. I saved $413 by buying my notebook from newegg.com for 2845 compared to sonystyle’s 3258 (2999+259 tax).

i also got mine from newegg.  can i still register and get the coupon?

can i use it in egghead or it is only good from sony directly?
