ok, i am looking to replace my dear old TR2A for a newer one.

Technology wise, I should choose the SZ.  I will sacrifice a little bit of mobility for extra power.

The basic question comes to this: Will I see any real difference with the dual core processor inside SZ series notebooks?  Can you really tell?

Any ideas?

Ya thats with all sonys first products there buggy for most of them but thats why you wait for 2nd or 3rd version of it ^^ but id get niether of those and go for T series or TR

Heh i guess ur saying gilbert is picky well for these type of things you only want to get something that works for you so…....but im sure if he looks into other forums or takes pics at sony store it would take him a long time if hes truthful which i believe he is 8)

ok, let me get this straight.  first we had the T’s then the TX1 and now TX2.  Doesn’t this qualify as a third generation of T(X) ?

Also, you have a point for the SZ.

Where could i obtain more info for the problems of each one?

from what i read in the sites mentioned, i can only see until now problems with the keyboard.

i have to read more and then to decide, but for now I am leaning towards an S5 model a little bit bigger than my cute TR.

Gee.. if i only knew when a dual core TX whold come out or if the SZ is really worth it appart from the keybord. 

I can not even try the SZ here in Greece because no store is selling it yet.
