Hey All: I currently have a TR2A purchased in the US, and I am going to go to Singapore for a trip abroad.  Although I know I will need an adapter, I am wondering whether I need a converter.  Please advise.  Thanks!

im not sure where ur getting at but the AC adapter automatically makes it 16V

yes, all sony adapters I know of are 110-220V

i agree with the other guys,

you can look also on your power supply that you have.
it should state 110-240 V

You don’t need a convertor. I’ve used mine all over the place without one.

dont’ forget to bring ur network cable if u are going to be in the airport for long, down by the free theater end but on the first floor, there may still be free broadband plugs next to the chargers.  u have to pay for the wireless connect, but the wired lines were free and fast.  such a great place singapore…

oh, by the way, your sony charger will work great there…
