Would the cd/dvd drive be upgradeble?

Just wondering.
Did they make a unique drive to put in the TR?
Or did they use a standard slimline drive. If so, would it be possible to replace it with a DVD writer in the same size, and replace the front wich is unique to the TR?

Technicallly, it should be upgradeable as long as it’s a 9.5mm optical drive (a newer standard). Most are 12.5mm so you’ll have to check. You’ll also have to do some cosmetic surgery to move the bezel over.
