Well, I can say that if you don’t compare the screen to the other notebooks, then it looks quite fine. Looked like any other notebook screen to me, but Gilberto says it looks like crap when comparing to other screens, especially on other Sony models, I’ll check that out eventually but can probably safely say that the screen is not horrible. I’m not an expert on notebooks, but the screen looked nice to me.

The screen though did seem quite fragile. It was cool to see how thin it was but it seems very fragile, I’d be pretty afraid of cracking it under normal use even though several TX owners say its quite durable.

The next TX should have corrected the redness issue and “leakage” of light at the bottom of the display, get a dual core, and have a swopping option extra battery / dvd tray instead of the ugly extended battery, which I cannot think of using because it totally destroys the image of an otherwise very elegant subnotebook.

Another thing: A keyboard with “reguar” keys (as the T series had) and not the flat ones on the TX.

A whiteish keyboard as an option would be very welcome, as this was a nice feature of the TR once upon a time. But keep the right shift key as big as on the TX and good placed as it is.
