Sony TR use Intel 82801 USB 2.0 controller which have 6 ports, but we only see 2 USB ports and one Memory Stick slot.

Is there any way to make the unused ports usable, ie. add USB InfraRed, Bluetooth, SD/MMS card reader, etc.?

The motherboad supports 6 I think.. the computer obviously only has 2 usuable ones though.. you’d have to do some mucking around on the inside to install new stuff and whatnot.. tricky in a laptop.

Motion Eye and Bluetooth are both using internal USB ports, as well as the Sony Memory Stick Reader as you already pointed out. Already makes a total of 5 ports.

Don’t know about the last one, but I suppose it’s lying unused on some unconnected signals of the chip. Tell us if you find it anywhere else…

Ya its tricky installing stuff into mobo i wouldnt risk it
